Bubinga is also known as Akume. It is a pinkish or reddish brown wood, with fine dark red veins and some brown ones.
Wenge is a durable and stable wood from Africa, the colour of milk chocolate with fine veins, straight, with rough grain and a lovely flamed aspect.
Oak has long been a cutlery makers' favourite due to its toughness, its warm hues and distinctive veins.

I bought this as an anniversary gift for my husband, there was a bit of delay during the courier process but still it arrived HK only in 5 days!Its good quality knives, we both love it and will definitely recommend this website!

I did a fair amount of research, as there are any knock-off or poor quality imitation Laguiole knives for sale online (even from reputable housewares sites). I am glad I found this site; the quality of the knives are wonderful. I ordered them as a gift and the recipient was very pleased.
