Two famous woods married in one same knife.
•    On one hand you have boxwood, this sempervirent (evergreen) symbol of immortality. Its heart is hard but its aspect soft.  Its density is equivalent to that of ebony. Both these woods are so heavy that neither floats!
•    On the other hand you have the timeless, magnificent, legendary ebony. No other wood naturally shines so deep a black. Ebony has given it name to the French word for cabinet-making, whatever wood the craftsmen may work. Its tight grain gives it incomparable polish.
